Silverbird Entertainment Centre by Ben Murray Bruce, Placed for Sale

The Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has put the Silverbird Entertainment Centre in Abuja up for sale to recover a debt exceeding N10 billion owed by companies linked to former Senator Ben Murray-Bruce. The mall, a flagship property of the Silverbird Group, features retail shops, a cinema, restaurants and office spaces, spanning 15,050.91 square meters.

The debt dates back to 2016 when AMCON obtained a court order to seize the mall due to non-payment. The property is being sold "as is", and bids are due by July 11. Interested buyers can visit AMCON's website or contact designated agents for more information. The companies involved for the dept are Silverbird Productions Limited, Silverbird Showtime Limited, and Silverbird Galleria Limited.

Despite negotiations, the debt remained unresolved, leading to the current sale. The sale is part of AMCON'S broader strategy to recover their debt from high profile defaulters.
